Click on the button. Logging in establishes your identity for bidding. This way you do not have to type in your phone number and name each time you bid or want to look at items you have bid on or are winning. The search is done on the phone number although we do record the name in the bid as well.
Once you have Logged in with your Name and Phone Number (Both are required). There is a button that says
1. Login with your name and phone number (Both are required).
2. To find the items you are looking for:
A. You can click on , to search by Donor or by Item.
B. Click on the Board Number or Sponsor Name. (Note: Boards and Sponsors are also listed in the newspaper).
3. Click on the Item you want to bid on.
4. Put in your bid ammount at the bottom of the screen and click Post Bid.
5. You can either Cancel your bid or Confirm your bid. (Cancel or Confirm will take you back to the item).
If you would like to return to the main screen, click on the Home button near the top of the page.
If you click on Search you will be taken to a screen that will allow you to enter text and then 'search' the database to find Items or Donor that match what your search.
A. To search for a Donor: (Example: Search: Ace). This will list all the items donated by this company.
B. To serach for an Item: (Example: Search: Bike). This will list all the items that have the word Bike.
If you click on the Help button, you will be taken to screen that contains information about the web site, the buttons, how to make a bid, etc.
Item number identifies an item on a particular board.
Donors have donated items to the Chamber of Commerce for the auction.
The Value column shows the suggested retail value of the item being.
The High Bid column shows the current highest amount of money that has been bid for the item. In order to bid on an item, you must bid an amount higher than the high bid.
Note: Bidding will end 3/20/10. Items can be picked up and paid for at Coshocton High School immediately following the auction until 5:00 PM
When you click on the My Auction button you will be taken to a screen that shows the items you have bid on, and any items for which you have submitted the winning bid (so far). Remember, other may outbid you at any time so you may want to check this page often.
